Let's face it, it's easy to forget our nails. We think a lot about our hair, our makeup etc. But sometimes our nails are easily neglected. They seem to grow so fast, don't they?

Remember:

Little babies have tiny fingernails and toenails that are usually soft and flexible but that can cause injuries to the infant. It is easy for newborns to scratch their faces. Nails that are ragged or extend beyond the tip of the finger can cause scratches to the face and possibly eyes. You need to trim your baby's nails and it's not often easy. Wash the baby's hands, feet, and nails during regular bathing. Nails should be carefully trimmed with baby nail scissors that have blunt rounded tips or baby nail clippers. (You do NOT want to use one for adults because baby's get their own clippers and scissors). A good timetable can be once a week for the fingers to keep things from not overgrowing (plus it's easy to forget about that).Baby's toenails can be done twice a month.
